From initial concept to final delivery, from pre-production through post-production, from behind the scenes to in front of the camera, creative professionals span a broad array of job titles and industries. One thing common to all of them is they make their living through the unique creative talent they bring to their work.

In the arts, earning power is generated by the personal brand you have built in the industry. In essence, you and you alone, are the business you rely upon for creating your wealth.

While this creative independence and do-it-yourself mentality serves your craft well, it may also be doing a disservice to you when it comes to handling your business and personal financial affairs. It is often the reality of modern life; the business side of our personal lives gets neglected as work takes center stage and demands more and more of our time and energy.

At the seminar, Understanding the Needs of Creative Professionals, we will go over topics such as:

  • Using Goal-Based Planning to Guide Investments and Savings
  • Preparing in Advance for Unexpected Events
  • Estate Planning Strategies and Asset Protection Ideas
  • Questions and Answers

When you are focusing all of your passion into each project as you build up your career, establishing your brand in the industry is the foundation of your future earning power. The last thing you are thinking about is handling your financial affairs. However, taking control of your investments and estate plan are two of the most important and essential steps you can take to help manage and secure your wealth. We're here to help.

Women: Wired to Invest

July 30, 2015

Thank you to everyone that made it out to our “Women: Wired to Invest” event at L.K. Bennett store on Madison Avenue.

As we learned; 90% of women will be solely in control their finances at some point in their lives and 100% need to be prepared to do so. (Source: National Center for Women and Retirement Research, refereneced in "Investing Wisely: What Women Need to know" by Kathleen Williams April 24, 2011. )  We hope our event helped to convey that a woman’s financial perspective is different and the information presented was one small step in gaining the proper knowledge and taking action.

Many thanks to Michele Dillon & Joseph McNally from Russell Investments and Tony DiMasso from L.K. Bennett for all of your help and support in coordinating the evening’s activities.
